The KAT6 Foundation is seeking a part-time Science Director to help guide our growing research program and advance our mission of improving the lives of individuals affected by KAT6A and KAT6B disorders.

As our research efforts continue to expand, we are looking for a qualified scientist to help shape our research strategy, strengthen collaborations with researchers around the world, identify promising research opportunities, and support our long-term goal of advancing therapeutic development.

Position: Science Director
Location: Remote
Commitment: Part-time, approximately 10–15 hours per week
Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

About the Role

The Science Director will work closely with the Foundation's Executive Director, Science Committee, Board of Directors, and research partners to coordinate ongoing research, evaluate new opportunities, and help guide strategic research investments.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant biomedical field, research experience, and strong scientific, organizational, and communication skills. Experience in rare disease or translational research is preferred.
